When the sun goes down on December 24, we officially begin Christmastide, twelve days of celebrating the birth of Christ the Savior.

We hope you join us for our Christmas Eve Service, December 24th, at 5:00pm in the back church parking lot. We will gather around a fire, sing Christmas hymns, hear the Christmas story and light the Christ candle to celebrate the birth of Jesus, our Emmanuel.

On Sunday Dec. 29th, those who are in town are invited to gather at the church for a potluck brunch at 10AM. We will worship by breaking bread and sharing in communion.

On January 5th , we will resume regular Sunday morning worship service. Christmastide culminates on Epiphany which is January 6th and we will observe this day together on this Sunday. Epiphany, which means 'reveal', celebrates Jesus being revealed and worshipped as God with us.

Our Ecclesia Kids Leadership (EKL) Crew is a group of upper elementary students who gather together monthly to brainstorm and pray and provide leadership for our church community. What an awesome group they are! They have invited us in to a really special giving opportunity. Here is the message from them:

"Our partner church ICO is taking a trip to El Salvador to show love and support to the people living there. As a part of their mission, they are hoping to give everyone a Bible and a backpack with some hygiene items. And we want to help. Our goal is to pay for 30 Spanish children’s bibles and 30 backpacks with supplies. We need to raise $700 to complete our goal and we are asking for your partnership."

On top of this goal for bibles and backpacks we would also like two sponsor two missionaries from ICO to go on this mission trip to El Salvador in November, which would be a total of $2,400.

Altogether our goal is to raise $3,100 by the end of August!

We are so thankful for our partner church ICO and we are thankful for the blessing they will be to these children in El Salvador. We welcome donations of any amount. You can give in person on Sunday mornings for all of July and August or you can give online here.
